AngelMD wrapped up 2021 with a "Best Of" startup competition in three categories: Cardiology, Orthopedics and General. After an initial nomination process, Articulate Labs was named as a top startup in the orthopedics space after the competition ran two weeks and had hundreds of participants vote for their favorite startup, including members of the AngelMD Clinical Advisory Board.

Articulate Labs was one of seven finalists chosen to present to AARP for a Shark Tank-like competition, judges with expertise in start-ups, venture capital and aging asked the founders questions about their products, competition, development plans and growth prospects. Pleased to announce that Articulate Labs was named winner of the AiQ Smart Clothing Prize and was one of five top winners out of 600 submitting companies at the 12th IOT/WT Innovation World Cup.

We're pleased to report that Articulate Labs won the Astellas Rx+ Healthcare Innovation Challenge. Astellas, a multinational pharmaceutical company with a $30B market cap and 17,000+ employees, chose AL out of 220 companies to fund and to help guide a proof of concept study using our devices to improve access to health care for those with chronic musculoskeletal conditions. We're excited about this opportunity and look forward to working with Astellas in the near future. .

Articulate Labs was one of two winners of $25,000 non-dilutive awards from Innospark Ventures following the conclusion of the 2020 MassChallenge Houston program. As a winner, Articulate Labs will also have the opportunity to apply to Innospark for seed funding. Innospark Ventures' AI Prize, awarded annually, is open to U.S. based teams developing AI-based solutions from across the cybersecurity, education, healthcare, life sciences, and business services sectors.

Pleased to announce that Articulate Labs is a Semi-Finalist in for NASA's 2020 iTech competition for technologies that could be applied to future space exploration. Astronauts can lose as much as 20% of their muscle mass within two weeks of spaceflight and spend ~2.5 hours a day exercising to ward off atrophy. We hope to have the opportunity to work with NASA engineers in applying our technology in a way that can more efficiently and effectively maintain astronaut physical wellbeing.
